Step 2 of the 12 Steps “Came to believe…restored to sanity…” NYC Fire Selfie Post

I’ve been up most of the night with one of my dogs who had her first (and last) liter of yorkies. All five are doing great!

With that good news being said, I have to talk about something that seem to be going viral for ALL the wrong reasons.

fake selfie nyc fire

While I don’t dispute the fact that it’s rather tasteless to take pictures in front of a devastating incident that should not have occurred, what I’m flabbergasted is how people are not only spreading around this photo BUT believing that they were taking a selfie while the fire was consuming the building.

Now I live in NYC. I was sitting in front of my computer working when my #Headline app sent me a notification about a fire in the East Village. Not too long after that I tuned to the news and was astonished at the blaze and how the water was not only putting out the fire but taking down the building as it was happening. My thoughts ran as I wondered who was trapped in there, people’s belongings and memories now part of a burning dust. I cannot even imagine nor do I want to. It’s very painful.

That being said, here comes this picture of the selfie where now people have the opportunity to express their hate towards a group of people they don’t even know. Let alone passing hate, but check out the picture clearly. The fire was put out by 6PM there were no flames. This picture clearly taken in the early eve is still showing flames that were not present at that time. And it there were flames they certainly weren’t shooting out at this time.

Second, why was this picture posted? No one begs that question. Lets take the focus off Con Edison for a bit and let’s focus on our hate and anger at people we will probably never see in this lifetime for I”m sure they are most likely foreigners on their journey to NYC probably thinking lets take a picture in front of an ambulance and nothing more of it.

Con Edison people were at the 121 Second Avenue, apparently doing an inspection on a contractors work in the basement. No sooner did they leave the building, the owner and contractor were at the building because someone said it smelled like gas and then the gas explosion occurred.

Where does Con Edison stand in all of this? Why didn’t they smell gas? I mean wouldn’t the smell be present at the time they were inspecting the building. NO one is asking these questions. Instead lets focus on this selfie.

Here’s my post on FB:

“Everyone is sharing this ‪#‎selfie‬ ‪#‎nyc‬ ‪#‎fire‬ post. It’s not real. If anyone watching the news knows the fire was put out at daylight. Smh wow people will spread lies faster than good things.”

Once I put up the picture calling it a fake, one of my friends responds (a real friend, someone I know) talking about how the lights of the fire trucks among other forms of EMS on the scene created a light that may have looked like a fire. To follow someone chimes in on my comment saying “good things, people are missing, etc. etc.”

This reminds me of when you apply your own emotions to what you’re reading.

Example:

“how are you”
“oh I’m good, just busy here studying for a test”
“oh sorry I bothered you sheesh”
“oh you’re not bothering me, just studying, I really need to pass this test”
“Well let me delete your number and never bother you again”

OH wait this was a similar conversation I had with the SAME person that accused me of saying that good things happened in this fire.

Ummmm do I know you? More importantly, do I want to know you? That answer would be a quick no.

Yes I have been at fault for putting up things that weren’t real but lesson learned not to be so quick to share unless it’s something comical.

Second step, coming to believe that something greater than ourselves COULD restore us to sanity.

It wasn’t until maybe my third year of sobriety, someone had shared and pointed out the word “could”.

Could being the operative word, as in a choice. People make choices (people of sound mind) to be restored to sanity. Which simply means, repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results.

The internet is filled with tons of shit, fake sites with fake news that people just hop on the wagon to believe. “Oh it’s on the internet, it’s real.”

Granted there are truths on the internet. This is the way most people do research accompanied with the library. If anyone is doing an important paper for school and studying for their masters degree, how stupid would it be if they solely relied on the internet.

Here’s another thing that applies to the second step, (note to self) stop arguing with mindless assholes that spend all day posting these fake news site and believing that’s it real.

To them, it is real. Perhaps it’s a need they have internally to satisfy some form of level of insanity they have in their lives in order for them to feel sane.

I don’t know what goes on in anyone’s brain and quite honestly I really don’t care. I’ve got my own brain and ideas to work with I think that’s enough LOL. On top of that I can’t even concern myself with people who might “hate” me, too much to incur in my wonderful life. I have bigger fish to fry.

The insane part is arguing with said type of people who are overly sensitive over postings and then feel the need to argue with those that may find something false or something that’s humorous that’s not humorous in their eyes. Just the other day a similar argument occurred when a good author friend of mine, his wife, posted a funny on his wall. While I totally got the joke, this sparked an argument with a woman who was offended, because of self image.

The picture wasn’t about self image it was about a feeling that the pictured depicted in the person’s face.

Over her head and way over the top. Instead of something being funny, it became an unnecessary argument.

Look I don’t proclaim to have all the answer, shit, if that were the case it would be brain overload. However, I do have some form of sense of self, of humor and not to take anything to literal when it comes to online bullshit. Do I see things I don’t agree with or like, sure. But does that give me the right to attack the person that put it up. I can simply said, I don’t agree or better yet say nothing. Moving on. #ByeGirl #ByeFelicia #GirlBye

The trolls have their own outlet in creating fictitious stories to appease their own insanity. That doesn’t mean we need to participate an help them.

But again, second step….”A power greater than ourselves COULD restore us to sanity.”

The power greater than yourself is your choice too.

My prayers go out to those who have been affected by the fire in the East Village. Lets not forget them either while spreading that stupid selfie picture.

Carry on my friends.

Until then.

@KEMTopTalk Radio Show w/guest Indie Filmmaker Robert Perez Highlights 3/24/15

Tkemtoptalk-logoLG600his week’s show definitely had a different flavor. It can’t be all about sex. Well some of it was of course, this is KEMTopTalk.

Robert Perez, indie filmmaker and comedian shared his experience in the independent film industry and his projects. One he shared with me which was quite hilarious called Herb the Cannibal Perv – a twisted take on sex, women and cannibalism. Now while we discussed that some may not find it funny, the point to Robert’s types of films is to make it ridiculous and over the top therefore finding the humor in something that people don’t find typically humorous (in real life that is)

While everyone is obsessed with zombies wouldn’t that be the same thing?

Nelson from WTFtv joined in on the call who was also in Robert’s film shared his thoughts on what it takes to film indie films and they are not as easy as anyone think they may be. In other words, don’t go running to pick up a Galaxy and think you’re going to film the next big feature indie film.

Robert was a fantastic guest! Check out his youtube feature here: https://youtu.be/wSS6s_82EHU

And for more on Robert you can search him on youtube: VariationOnFilms  Facebook https://www.facebook.com/VariationsOnFilm?fref=ts

Jorge joined in for the second half of the show as he and I discussed the whoa’s of reality television shows, Real Housewives of Atlanta starring Nene Leakes and the walking out of her own therapy, Pheadra and pending divorce from Apollo, Kandi and her not so nice pre-marital agreement and her shitting Kandi Coated NIghts show…etc. More on Kim and her fake sobriety, and Brandi Glanville running out of friends.

Honorable mentions: Sybian, Danny Blaq, Planet12Law, Howard Stern, George Takei, Moe The Monster, Angelo Lozada and Edwin Pagan.

The video I talked about on my radio show is here for your viewing pleasure 🙂 From T and A Flicks here is Final Notice starring Angel Lozada and directed by Sonia Gonzalez-Martinez: https://youtu.be/oLoWzLXagBQ

Thanks to Nelson Torres @WTFtv for joining in and Jorge on sharing his thoughts on the reality shows discussed on the show.

My Final Thoughts #TheBachelor #FarmerChris E-I-E-I-O @c_soules

Why Chris Soules picked the Producers Choice

While Bachelor Nation is brain washed into believing that The Bachelor/Bachelorette final picks are real, there are a small portion of us and probably includes Reality Steve who aren’t buying into the Bachelor love story so easily.

Anyone who has watched Season 19 intently wondered why Chris sent Britt packing, kept Carly all of this time, got rid of Kimberly after giving her a chance in the first episode and who seemed like a good potential of someone that Chris can really get to know, got rid of Samantha over Kelsey, the list goes on. Most importantly, choosing pushy Whitney over Becca, who seemed to have the most potential in a long lasting relationship and Becca who seems to have a good head on her shoulders was right in keeping the pace in what a relationship should be instead of rushing things.

Chris Soules was one of the final four from the Andi season. One of the most popular bachelors and I use that term loosely as we can only go by what Chris Harrison is being told to say on these shows, like “hashtag” BachelorNation.

Of course you can’t fault the marketing department, after all, they are just doing their job like any other company has the right to do so, however, why I don’t believe that Chris made the right choice is broken down as so:

carly and chrisCarly and Chris

From the moment that Carly stepped out of that limo with the karaoke machine was a sign that Chris should have sent her packing. Even when she went on further to talk about investing two years in a relationship with a man that did not touch her was a clear sign Carly had a lot to sort through. Forget Juelia who was bawling over the suicide of her husband, an obvious sign that Juelia was not ready to be in a relationship but Carly? Really? I mean what woman stays in a relationship with a man who refuses to be intimate with her. This creates all sorts of low self-esteem issues that would need to be resolved before moving on to another relationship. As the season droned on, the true colors of Carly emerged when she realized Britt had a better relationship with Chris than she did (I mean forget everyone else who had a better relationship with Chris too). If she had pulled the veil from her eyes, she would have seen she and Chris really didn’t have anything but a great friendship.

getty image chris and kimberlyKimberly and Chris

While Kimberly and Chris didn’t last but an episode, I had to include her as I felt some type of empathy there for her. Here is a woman, self-employed, a yoga teacher, spiritual, living in NYC and ready to make a move with her life and her love life. She was beautiful and well put together. So why didn’t Chris keep her? Simple. Why keep a woman that’s put together. #ProducersCut

bachelor-britt-week-6Britt and Chris

For a while during the episode, Britt looked like the clear cut winner. Even during group dates while not garnering the rose all the time, she did get the first rose, the first kiss and the episode when Chris whisked her away to the Big and Rich show was enough to put Britt on the hate list but enough for the audience watching to think, this was it. Chris found love and he found it with Britt. It didn’t end there when Carly realizing she’s watching love bloom and it wasn’t with her but with Britt decided to feed into a childlike tantrum and tell Chris that Britt is not really that into him and she lied about wanting to live in Arlington. Not a nice thing to do especially when it comes to game of love. I don’t know anyone with common sense that would want to be with anyone by deception instead of just having the person be with you because they want to. And look, you gotta have a lot of balls to want to live in a town filled with nothing but farm land. Tell me how many people want to make that type of move? You can’t fault people for that. But you can be truthful and say, I love you but I’m not sure about this life but I’m willing to give it a chance.

While there’s still a part of me that feels Britt was trying to, as they say in Real Housewives of Atlanta, she may have been on the ‘come up’, I really believe that outside of the farm life, Britt would have been the idea wife because she bought another side to Chris that he probably never realized he had inside himself, to have fun and enjoy life.

jade and chris

Jade and Chris

While Chris’ sister’s thought that Jade was the ideal woman for Chris, I just didn’t see the connection. Had she told Chris in episode 2 or 3 that she was hottie nudie in Playboy he definitely wouldn’t have given her the rose and maybe keep Kelsey. LOL – Jade reminded me of Jen Scheft, a bit boring. Jen was chosen by Andrew Firestone and while that relationship lasted but a hot minute, he ended up marrying a woman that was similar to Jen Scheft. LOL

bachelor-becca

Becca and Chris

Chris definitely let an opportunity of love and stability go when he choose Whitney over Becca. Becca had common sense; there wasn’t urgency for love and marriage. She’s preserved her virginity for someone who’s deserving of it and I totally get that. Relationships are tough, being with someone and making all sorts of compromises isn’t easy. Chris is not an old man and clearly having a relationship with Becca would have bought upon a foundation that not many have when seeking love in reality television. Sure she didn’t have that pushy attitude like Whitney did, desperate to be in a relationship, rushing to have children to fit into a timeline of what women think life should be. She tied in with his family very well and father knows best when he said that Chris really wanted Becca. Love is a funny thing. Becca seems more reserved and careful with her choices and while that may have cost her a relationship with Chris, I liked how she handled herself in the women tell all. She didn’t fall apart even though she was hurt. Clearly Becca knows Chris isn’t the last man on earth and I’m sure she will find someone worthy of her.

chris-soules-and-whitney-bischoffWhitney and Chris

Where do I begin? I didn’t like Whitney from the start for a variety of reasons. Pushy, desperate, annoying chatty voice, telling people what they want to hear, etc. etc.

What woman does that? A woman solely in interested in herself and no one else.

Any woman with self-esteem knows what she wants without forcing any relationship. Why didn’t she leave an impression with Chris’ sisters the first time around? Yet here she was as the final two and boy were his sister’s singing a different tune. Whitney gave them everything they wanted to hear. She was the lead singer, the choir and the back up singer.

It’s relationships like that that make me question when seeking love what does the ideal wife look like in America’s eyes?  Does she look like Whitney? Career minded, super charged and self-absorbed. Does she go around acting like the bell of the ball?

It seemed to Chris’ family based Whitney she as the guaranteed relationship” because Becca held back and wanted to build something before saying “I do”.

Hello? Doesn’t every one do that?

“Hi, nice to meet you, let’s get married” (wait that’s another show but they’re completely different)

(BTW notice this smirk pictures of Whitney when Chris escorted Kaitlyn out. What does that tell you? A woman definitely just as cattie as Carly. No different just in a sneaky way.)

whitney-smirking

whitney-smirking2

whitney-smirking3

What the fuck is that all about? There’s a time and a place for every step of love. I truly believe that. And while Becca wanted to take her time, what did Whitney say when Chris Harrison asked her is she moving to Arlington. Did you catch that pause on how they are just taking it slow…. #contradiction – Was it because the family was so gun-ho that he put a ring on it. UGH! AND in #BachelorNation it’s all about the ratings. Hurry up and get married and make us look good.

I wonder how much longer does this show have to be on the air. I mean will it surpass my life? Is this the new way to meet people?

Furthermore, why does society frown upon someone like Britt but found Jillian to be acceptable? Britt is gorgeous and with that type of natural beauty that I believe people will envy (yes I do think that Britt is beautiful). People are such haters. They make you feel like you don’t deserve better because of it. #Jealousy

What about the career women? Does a career make or break the reputation of a woman? Will a man choose a woman who’s not as career minded out of fear that she won’t be there to take care of him?

As the owner of an Adult publication and working with people in the Adult sector, I have to tell you from early on, men who I was remotely interested would send me pictures of their ass and dick thinking this is what I am looking for. When I tell them (in my most kind voice), “look we’re not on the same page”, then I would be called uptight.

WTF? OH I’m sorry am I supposed to be a slut because I own a sex magazine? Who’s the close minded asshole?

Look, a person’s career should not define who they choose to love and HOW they choose to love that person. Anyone who works in the Adult sector are not just looking for sex [in their personal life] unless that’s exactly what they want and made it a point to say, yes I’m looking for sex and that’s it.

There’s not much common sense left in the world. Sad but true.

As for my final note on Chris Soules, I don’t believe this relationship with Whitney will last. It will go down in #BachelorNation history as a good season of crazy women, faux panic attacks, booty shorts, virgins, women who don’t shower, and a man who lives on a farm.

E-I-E-I-O

Until then.

Loves and Hugs,

The Bachelor @C_Soules Hometown Dates – Bye Britt :-( AND Carly (YAY)

021615-bachelorbecca1stdateContinuing from last weeks episode, Chris has a one on one date with Becca who I believe he will wind up with in the end. She still has not told Chris that she is a virgin and has never been intimate with any man whatsoever. She tells Chris that she was in a relationship that was on and off but that she had never been in love with him or in love with anyone else for that matter which seems to take Chris aback. Fear perhaps? This is a grown woman who has never felt love for any man. (Three cheers for Becca for not falling for BS and standing her ground.) Back at the hotel,

Britt sits with the girls and ask them what they’re chatting about and Whitney says that they’re talking about Becca and what could be going on on their date and about last night which clearly was not the starring role for Britt. Britt confesses to the girls that she believes in her heart that she is going home and that she’s not going to get a rose so she packed up her things in preparation to leave however if there is a chance that Chris will choose her then she will stay.

That leaves Carly asking a bunch of questions and making sarcastic and antagonizing statements which only upsets Britt even more because Carly feels if Britt is not in the picture that will put her one level up which I don’t believe it will. The evening has dawned upon them for the rose ceremony.

Chris Harrison comes into the room and tells the ladies that there will be no cocktail hour and will go straight to the rose ceremony. Britt has already packed up her things with the intention of telling Chris that she has no plans on staying feeling as though because he gave Kaitlyn the rose after she had put her heart out there. Feeling as though is he worthy of meeting her family coupled with her heart may not be in the right place, she stops the rose ceremony and asks Chris if she can talk to him.

Even though she knows that having put her foot in her mouth, I can understand why she did what she did. What is the point of standing around in a rose ceremony knowing that you’re not going to get a rose when you just might as will say goodbye and get it over with. I think Kaitlyn is an idiot for even making a statement that she made that Britt should just grin and bear it. Why? Perhaps this is the closure Britt wants so she can leave.

I’m surprised even Kaitlyn made it this far also. During their private time while Britt and Chris were talking over each other and nobody was really listening to each other instead of Britt just telling Chris that it was not going to work out for either of them, they come a silence.

43-bachelor-week-7bAnd in that silence it is mutual  that this relationship is over and he walks her out leaving her hysterical crying. All the other girls seem to be empathizing except for Carly, who’s smiling and gloating at Britt’s pain. Chris now heads back to the ladies for the rose ceremony before hometown dates and the ladies that are left standing are Becca, Carly, Whitney, Kaitlyn and Jade.

Before he hands out the roses, he makes a statement that he wants to thank those who have addressed that Britt was being a phony. Huh? If that is the case why did he spend so much time with her and even taking her away from the other ladies to the big and Rich concert for which they were gone for more than an hour while he left all of them waiting and gave Britt a rose that night. Why did he just say earlier in the episode that she was the one he can see being married and having children? Talk about can conflict.

The roses were disbursed as following: Whitney Becca Jade BWAAhAaaaHa. And Carly? Kicked to the curb. Just as she should have been from the moment she came out of the limo with her toy. Continuing on with the episode the first hometown date he has is with Becca who is extremely excited to see him and excited to meet her family as well as she is excited to have him meet her family.

Here are some pictures I took from my television of Carly in the limo clueless as to why Chris let her go. The part of “what’s wrong with me I always end up in the same exact place” got me…what is wrong with her? Where do I begin? Her nasty attitude, the lies she made up to make herself look good, the green eyed monster. Who would want to see her as the next Bachelorette, raise your hands? I thought so. As a woman no one likes to be around nasty, jealous women who will throw them under the bus at the first chance they act upon their insecurity.

pathetic carly2 pathetic carly3 carly pathetic1Speaking of throwing people under the bus, hometown dates are strange because family members will say things that will also throw that person under the bus and ruin potential relationships with the bachelor or bachelorette. Becca’s sister pulls Chris’s side (you know that “private” chat) to tell him that Becca has never been intimate with a guy as far as holding hands or being affectionate and that she had seen them holding hands and she didn’t pull away which was a first. After having a conversation with her mom I don’t think that Chris is deterred from how he feels towards Becca.

Their date ends on a ferris wheel right before he tells her,  “I’m going to take you home with me”. I don’t know if that meant the ferris wheel ride or Arlington. Understand my confusion as he just mentioned the day before how he wanted to ride under the sunset with Britt. On his hometown date with Whitney it was all about her and her career and herself and how fabulous she is.

I guess it’s okay to toot your own horn except when your desperate.  I think shows should show a red flag for Chris because why would she leave that life? Nope! Why would he see that? On their way to meet her family he says he wants to be able to talk to someone to get their blessing I don’t know why he told her that because I don’t believe that he will choose Whitney in the end. At the same time…wow.

Was a choice made already? He eventually asked Whitney’s sister for her blessing and she was very forward and telling him that until she is the last girl standing he should wait to ask that question. She will not give her blessing otherwise. Good point. Despite the situation that is created around the bachelor I don’t believe that Whitney has fallen in love with Chris.

I think it’s just the surroundings and the circumstances where you have a bunch of women pursuing one man that makes one believe that they are in love with them without having them live the realities of life outside of the cameras. But Whitney loves the cameras.

On the hometown date with Kaitlyn she meets him from what looks like a seedy part of Phoenix, Arizona but it was actually a place where there’s a studio and they decided to record a rap song which was pretty bad. I’m not sure who comes up with these strange date ideas. While the family settings seem to the usual boring scene, after dinner Kaitlyn takes Chris to an advertising street sign where she placed Kaitlyn loves Chris.

Which I think is pretty awesome nice way to tell somebody that you love them not that it’s never been done before. An advertisement sign that overlooks the whole street is a big deal. On his hometown date with Jade in Gering, Nebraska, while everything seems to be going fine on the outside, Jade still has concerns because she had pose nude for Playboy and still has not told Chris.

Chris makes inquiries through her family members about Jade and they’re all pretty much saying the same thing. They all seem to express concern that Jade is not ready to settle down, she’s a wild girl, etc. it’s stuff like that that maybe your family should not be sharing with a potential life partner. When Jade took him back to, I’m gathering, her hotel room where she was staying while in Nebraska, she shared with him her secret about posing for Playboy and while Chris seem to have taken it in stride I knew that was the last nail that locked the coffin and the rose ceremony proved it. Was anyone surprised?

I was surprised that, she too, lasted for as long as she did. I believe the only reason why she had surpassed rose ceremony after rose ceremony was because his sisters had chosen her for his one on one, probably thinking they see something he hasn’t seen in her.

Look, if your dick doesn’t get hard and your pussy doesn’t get wet, that should be enough to tell you they ain’t the one. While he made it a point to tell her that his decision was not based on what she told him but more based on the relationships that he has developed with the other women, begs the question how much of a relationship does he really have with Becca?

While I believe Becca is the ideal woman for him, how long did it take for him to establish a relationship with her. In the whole spectrum of looking at the last four ceremonies he has had more of a connection with Britt than any other girl including Whitney.

I really felt for Jade but again I cannot see her settling down on some farm with Chris.

All in all this episode was extremely boring. The hometown dates were just the usual family gatherings with a family member pulling Chris’s side saying  “let’s have some one-on-one time”.

Bye Jade. We all saw that one coming. Really? Could you see her family looking at her with the same eyes the day they were all in Arlington knowing that she was naked in a magazine. People are so hard up. If Chris had real feelings for her and tossed them aside for the sake of conservative modesty, he made a big mistake. Oh did you notice those tears that Chris shed when he said goodbye to Jade. I didn’t see him cry for anyone like that.

Until then.

The Bachelor @C_Soules Bachelor @chrisbharrison Deadwood South Dakota E8

Deadwood, South Dakota

britt-nilsson-madI was listening to Howard Stern the other day, where Robin Quivers was talking about how the episodes of the bachelor especially this season has been ending somewhat on a cliffhanger, i.e the Kelsey faux panic attack.

Where all of the episodes have always ended with the rose ceremony with previews of the upcoming weeks episode, it seems that some of the episodes the rose ceremony has filtered in to the next weeks episode.

In episode eight the show begins with the rose ceremony, since the day before Chris happy to on one date with Ashley and Kelsey and said goodbye to both of them.

Britt inquires as innocently as she can, regarding why he decided to let go of them. Whereas Carly was too much on the bandwagon to cheer both Kelsey and Ashley off, since she’s had her date with Chris she is convinced that she will be the last girl standing.

Before Chris begins the rose ceremony, he asked Megan if they can have a chat. I don’t care what anyone tells me, when someone says, “let’s have a chat”. It’s almost not a good thing. Apparently this short chat leads to the conclusion that Megan will no longer be a part of the rose ceremony as he said goodbye to her.

What I don’t understand is that Chris makes a comment on how brutal break ups are. And how sad he was to see her go and how it was tearing him apart. So if he felt such a strong connection with her why get rid of her if anything I think that Chris made a very big mistake in letting her go. Who he should’ve had that conversation with was Carly. I believe he has zero connection with her and for some reason she just keeps making the cut.

When Chris returns it is obvious that Megan was sent home. And the girls are thinking well since Megan is cut that she that there will be no rose ceremony. That’s when Chris Harrison comes in and chimes on the champagne glass that they will be a rose ceremony.

Now they’re all convinced that Carly will be the one to be cut because she seems to be the least likely candidate to wind up with Chris. And during her interview it is clear that she spazzing out with all the tears and the crying that he’s an easy person to love.

As Chris Harrison and Chris walk away, Chris informed him that he does not want to have a rose ceremony because he has feelings for all of the women therefore relieving all of them of a nightmare ceremony and guess where the next stop is on their journey for love….that’s right. In Carly’s words, “we’re going to Arlington”.

b83a7b20-97be-0132-447c-0ebc4eccb42fSo when Chris makes the announcement to the ladies there will be no rose ceremony because he has feelings for all of them, he announces they’re going to God’s country. Carly is the first one to jump and grab him on top of him. As far as I’m concerned this dumb bitch got a reprieve.

They land in Des Moines Iowa, and as they are hollering what a beautiful city it is, I don’t think they realize this is not the farm life Chris has talked about time and time again.

The date card comes in and Britt reads the card hoping she gets the one on one and instead it goes to Jade. Britt who has invested much of her emotions in her relationship with Chris is upset.

Carly,on the other hand, was gloating that Britt did not get the date card because she feels that Britt has had enough time with Chris. Stupid. It’s women like Carly that give good women a bad name.

Jade is in the car on her way to Arlington has concerned look as the road changes from city life to farmland on either side.

My question is is that when did Chris become attracted to Jade? If it were not for his sisters choosing her for the one on one, I think Jade would have gone home a long time ago. Also as a cosmetics vendor, unless she’s leaving her career behind, how much can she ‘vendor’ in Iowa.

You could see the discern growing in her face as she looks on either side of the road and realizes she’s in the in the middle of nowhere. Not for nothing if it was me I would be in the lead because I can’t stand being around people or having neighbors so for me this would be the ideal life.

jade-roper-elimination-thumbSo while Jade is stuck with the scenery of just farm, back at the hotel in Des Moines, Britt is talking about all of the stuff that Jade gets to see that she’s not getting to see and how important it is to her and Carly continues to gloat that Britt was not the one that was chosen for the date. When the second date card comes in and Whitney is called out Britt once again is let down. Now I’m confused. Wasn’t Britt the one that Chris whisked away to the Big and Rich show. When they’re together in a group setting you almost forget there are other women on the group date. So why Whitney? What made Whitney different? Was it because he was unsure of her being that she has this career as a fertility specialist? Not sure.

Back on the one to one, Chris meets up with Jade and shows her his place and then off sightseeing as they walk around the desolate town. Chris offers a nervous laughter as they stroll because there’s nothing there. Most small businesses are closed which was really sad.

As the day turned to night, Chris took her to a high school football game and to her surprise, Jade got to meet Chris’s parents. Although the conversation wasn’t long I’m almost sure if Britt knew what was going on with this date she would be none too happy.

Here are some of my questions as I was watching this episode.  Every girl chosen has a career in this season of the bachelor well except for Britt and Carly. In this situation considering that Chris lives on a farm, is he asking any of these women that they would possibly have to give up their career and take on a career of farming?

I’m not too sure.

Whitney who has a very big head about herself, is she willing to give up her career in being a fertility specialist for a living on a farm? I mean you’re living in a place where populations 400 I’m pretty sure that none of those people living there are having any babymaking problems.

While Jade had a successful time with Chris. It looks like she will be getting a rose especially since he already had plans on having Jade meet his parents while at the football game.

The next day, as Jade discusses her date with Chris and tells them that she met Chris’s parents, brings Britt to tears and Carly during her interview comments that Britt thinks is the bachelorette. I’m not sure what’s in Carly’s head but she also thinks it’s the bachelorette. Her over the top attitude definitely shined in this episode. Talk about a big head. Isn’t this the same woman that came in with a mini karaoke machine? The same one that didn’t win the singing contest? When did she start hating Britt? Oh when she realized that Chris is not that into her.

Moving onto the one on one date with Whitney who’s forcing this relationship for a variety of reasons one of them being that she’s 29 years old and women who are at that age feel like they are getting old rapidly and so are their eggs. I can see her giving up a lot to be with Chris, however, I don’t think that her feelings are sincere and at the end of the day she will not be happy.

carly-the-bachelorMeantime back at the “lab”. Carly suggest that they should go on a road trip to Arlington and Britt doesn’t think it’s a good idea. But instead of listening to her better judgement she goes on the expedition with them. They seemed really excited at first, screaming their heads off but once they started approaching Arlington and see on either side of them nothing but farmland was when the mood changed and all was quiet in that SUV.

The girls are arrive at Arlington and they find nothing in the town. All had the same discerning face Jade did when she arrived in Arlington.

Carly sees a Methodist church and convinces herself the picture of Jesus hanging on the wall inside the church was an exact replica of what her grandparents owned. Of course this was a sign she belongs there and she should be raising her children there. I don’t like disputing signs but in the case of Carly it just means this Jesus picture has been reprinted a number of times and you’ll probably find it in a number of homes.

Back on the Whitney date, she throws the comments to Chris’ friends on how she feels that she belongs there. What? It’s amazing how these women make assumptions that they visit a town that they are dating a guy on the bachelor so to speak and right away they feel that they belong in that town. Because Whitney has not experienced Arlington herself she speaking out of turn.

She also lives in Chicago, that is a big jump from living in Arlington. She seems to be a person who enjoys the spotlight and clearly she’s enjoying this spotlight a bit too much if you ask me. When his friends asked her if she had any hesitations, I think she lied through her teeth and said everything they all wanted to hear. This was not somebody that Chris’s sisters had chosen for his one on one when they had visited the house. I think that speaks volumes they had big Jade, But that doesn’t mean that she’s right for him too.

Britt, I’m on the fence with because she seems to be sincere but then there’s another part of her where she seems to be just acting like she really wants all of this but she doesn’t. Carly had made a comment that Britt did not like Arlington and could not see herself living there but when they were back at the hotel, Britt mention that she could see herself living in Arlington with Chris.*Carly rolls eyes*

Looking at the career that Britt is involved with is waitressing. That’s not to say that a waitress will take the first thing to get out of the job that she’s in clearly we all know that waitresses do not make a lot of money, however she is a bit overzealous of their relationship which makes me question the validity of her feelings towards Chris or his life style.

I like Britt a lot. But I’m not sure she is the right fit for Chris. Looking at Becca who has been the quiet one and cautious in her relationship with Chris she seemed to fit right  as I watched her walk around Arlington. She didn’t have that overwhelmed look.

Carly makes fun of Britt too much and she’s too overconfident that she will stick around. I don’t believe she will.

Whitney confides in Chris that her mom passed away from a routine procedure was she developed a blood clot clot and died instantly and that she has no relationship with her father so I’m not sure who he will be meeting on hometown dates considering that she’s chosen for one.  Some hidden issues in there, ya think.

Chris gives Whitney a surprise outside of the restaurant they were at, there was a mural of them looking like they were kissing similar to a picture that they took earlier with the whole crowd standing outside with cameras videoing the whole moment. I’m gathering with this permanent mural it would be funny if he picked Becca and that mural is stuck there until it’s painted over.

bachelor-whitneyThe next day Whitney is sharing the part of the date with the mural on the wall replicating one of the pictures that they took earlier and while Becca seemed genuinely happy for her Jade on the other hand has something that is weighing heavy on her mind which she shares with Carly that she did some nude modeling for Playboy.

On the ice skating date with Britt, Kaitlyn and Carly, Britt pulls Chris aside to let him know that they took a trip to Arlington and she tells him that at first she was concerned and then as the sun was setting when they were heading back and she looked into the cornfields she felt she could see herself there and she sounded beautiful.

So when Chris asked her can she see herself living there and she said yes I really can, as much as I like Britt, she was not coming from a sincere place. It was a very unsure, “yes I can be here with you”.  She was being completely phony. Now I don’t think that she is being phony about her feelings with Chris I think that her feelings for him are completely genuine, however, I think that she will lie that she is happy in Arlington just to be with him.

The end for her will be that she will want Chris to eventually move out of Arlington and probably move to Los Angeles to wish she lives and we all know how that would and if it came to that.

While Chris bought into Britt’s story, Chris seemed shocked to hear Britt say this, during his commentary interview that Britt is a woman he can see living in Arlington, marrying her and having children.

Carly, used her one on one time with Chris to tell him that Britt is a lair and mentioned she can never see herself living in Arlington which, of course, shocks Chris because Britt just told him she can see her life there with him. Hello Chris, wake up and smell the deception. Do you see a life with Carly? She should have been gone before the Arlington trip.

Now here is the deal, I don’t recall seeing anything on the show that she said those words. She could have but here’s my whole thing, if Britt really could not see herself living there, why would she tell the girls knowing that they can go back to Chris and tell him?

At dinner time, Chris pulls Britt aside to find out if she said the things Carly told him.

I think that Kaitlyn said it best, when she said that she believes that Britt is confused and that perhaps even though with best intentions she may not feel that this is the best decision for her that sooner or later Britt will wake up and smell the coffee and realize this is not the life that she wanted after all.

Even though Carly says the same thing, Carly is coming from a vindictive place because She is stuck in her fantasy that she is the best person for Chris.

I do not believe that Carly is the best person for Chris I think that Carly is a desperate woman who is also confused and probably needs therapy because no one that I know stays in a relationship for two years with somebody that doesn’t want anything to do with them physically.

After all his talks with the ladies Chris comes back and gives the rose to Kaitlyn. Britt, oh girl, this is the time where she needed to keep her mouth shut, goes on a tired of how she can understand why he gave Kaitlyn the rose…but why her?

screen-shot-2015-01-27-at-4-23-02-pmI also believe Kaitlyn is not a good fit for him either as a professional dancer I don’t know how long that of a career will last unless she’s willing to make that change. Yes could four hundred people have fun at the community center dancing…sure. But have any of these women thought anything through?

And I think that’s what this is about this is about Chris finding a woman who is willing to adapt and change her career all of the women left standing the only that I see this is within Becca. No one else.

Meanwhile when all are back at the hotel with Carly heading up the mean girls she makes a comment that Britt blew it opening up her mouth when Chris gave the rose to Kaitlyn and that she made an idiot out of herself.

And while Britt is crying her eyes out during her commentary interview, Carly is talking about how she’s gone and she’s gone   etc. etc.  too much gloating on Carly’s part.

@AndiDorfman Talks Breakup of a Relationship that Never Was @ChrisBHarrison

andi-and-josh-break-upChris Harrison changes scenes to talk about #BachelorNation with Andi Dorfman and her “shocking” break up with Josh.

Andi, very teary eyed, having difficulties discussing the break up and how she is coping. Chris asked her how did everything happen because at the premier they looked very happy.

Andi admits they have been struggling for a while in their relationship and it wasn’t something that happened overnight.  She was convinced for a while that she had made the right decision. She was 100% sure that her choice was the right choice.

She talked about the things they did together, cooking, spending time and being in love and when Chris asked about the premier and the wedding date – they really didn’t have an answer until they went back home and Andi confronted Josh as to why they didn’t have a date or even in discussions of planning a wedding.

Here’s the answer. Josh was not in love with Andi. He never was. Granted I wasn’t in the between the sheets with them, recalling Andi season, Josh was all about fulfilling his ego, making a name for himself on television. I think I mentioned maybe more than once or one hundred times in my blog about Andi season. This makes me think of Meredith Bachelorette season how she was so falling for Ian the very sexy eye candy guy in her season. Who wouldn’t fall for that but it was clear he was not feeling the same way for her and they broke up. “Surprise”

Josh was very full of himself in the Andi season. He wanted to act like the fucking savior and arguing with all the guys who were there when he found out their  intentions weren’t sincere . And the Boston guy, I forget his name, he was cute too but it was clear he was not into Andi either, he actually preferred blondes which goes to show you how low men can be on this show. On their trolley date he was staring off in the window probably wishing she was a blonde. Anything for air time! When you invite that camera into your life, trust me it’s hard to let go.

Nick, one of the final two and the one I thought she would have chosen, admitted to sleeping with Andi on the overnight date, aired “After the Final Rose”, was clear about his intentions. I believe he did love her and when he admitted what they did he didn’t come from place of malice, it was more like “How can we have such an intimate moment but you walk off the sunset with someone else?”

The fact is Andi fell in love with the wrong man. She wanted it so bad, but it wasn’t real and haven’t we all been there? Do I feel for her, sure I do. Her tears and pain were very real. I can relate on so many different levels having fallen in love with the wrong man in 2008. Back then it didn’t feel wrong and maybe that’s where we all falter as human beings. We get so caught up in that moment and we don’t think of our future with this person and how it may or may not turn out. Even after all of this time that has gone by, sad to say but true, I am still in love with this man. I will always have a love for him BUT at the end of the day, it’s all about realizing that some choices that were made in the past must stay in the past, not to be revisited or entertain thoughts of having that person come back into your life. They must stay gone in order for you to move on.

Andi is a smart and beautiful woman and while I really hated she choose Josh, at the same time I have deep empathy for her because I have been there and it really sucks.

I hope now she realizes that Josh is a lesson learned and that when she sees another bobble head like Josh coming along claiming he will sweep her off her feet, she runs the other way and never looks back.

The Sunday Special @C_Soules Bachelor @chrisbharrison Host E7

phoney kelseyThis Sunday special showed what happened behind the scenes of this season of the Bachelor.

Chris Harrison talks about something that has never happened in bachelor history when Kelsey was sent home how the girls cheered and broke out the champagne, which is true, something like that has never happened.  So Kelsey was interviewed in an early “hot seat” when Chris asked her why was she so disliked?

Kelsey was shocked when Chris Harrison said she was so controversial. She was called several things, condescending, that she faked the panic attack which we all know she did, she is narcissistic – and when the women found out that she snuck time with Chris to tell him about her husband dropping dead, they were all convinced this was an ulterior motive to stick around because she had no other cause to stay around.

While she claims that was her intention, we all know that she knew she was going home and that was the only reason why she went into Chris’ room, to lock in her “bid”, so to speak because she knew she was going home.

When Chris Harrison asked her if she faked the panic attack she said no. Did he really think that she would answer that question truthfully? He also mention how she recovered pretty quick as it seemed one minute she was on the floor and the next minute she’s “kee keeing” with the ladies on the couch like nothing happened.

Chris Harrison brings up the two on one date with Ashley I. who was gunning for her. Kelsey said she was shocked Ashley said those things about because Ashley was nice to her from the beginning and believes that because she was thrown under the bus because Ashley had no chance with Chris.

Then Chris Harrison sits with Farmer Chris to ask him what was going through his mind watching the playback of the shows especially in the Badlands with Ashley and Kelsey especially when he and Kelsey had their one on one time as he confronted her with the info that Ashley just shared. Chris said he was surprised what he heard about Kelsey. Shocked, maybe but really Farmer Chris, are you blind? If I can ask Chris, why did you keep Kelsey over Samantha? Did you feel sorry for her with her Sanderson story…? I don’t know given the situation, I would have questioned why she decided to share that story especially when it was clear that she wasn’t sticking around and then playing up a panic attack, I mean really?

The Bachelor Women Tell All Ashley S in hot seat onionMoving on to the comical Ashley S. who I believe that not only did they think she was cooky but she would be great humor for the show. Believe me if anyone thought she was right for Chris, at this point I think Ashley stole the show as crazy as she is.  She was having a lot more fun with the zombie paint ball game, I think more fun than anyone else was having, she made strange comments during her interviews about everything else but Chris. I like the scenes with Ashley walking around the property and just popping into places that the other women probably never thought to look like craft services, the accounting department, staring at walls and doors. What was funny was when she went back to the girls at the house and told them she found an office where there was a group of people betting on them. I would not be surprised if there’s side bets going on. While we all knew right then and there that Ashley would not be the one to wind up with Chris, clearly she would be unforgettable, for sure. Even though her audition tape displayed a women who seemed completely normal when it came to real Ashley all were left to wonder what exactly is she looking for.

Chris Harrison goes into Tara being drunk and the fact that being drunk almost cost her a rose but Chris decided to keep her any way. I think Chris gave a great answer, (I’m not being sarcastic) he said because he empathized and identified with the situation he decided to give her another chance.  But he didn’t give that chance to Jordan who he sent packing in episode two due to the same thing but when she came back to see him when they were out in Santa Fe and listened to her plea, he still sent her packing anyway.  And then there was Jillian who I think he liked the short shorts better than Jillian herself. Look we all know that Jillian would have been a terrible wife for Chris. Can anyway see this vivacious woman on a farm???? Not me. Plus she talked about sex a lot. My kind of girl, definitely not Chris’ kind of girl.

juelia crying over husbandThey go into Juelia who disclosed the story of her husband killing himself and still sent her home. Beautiful Juelia with that terrible spelling of her name and understood why Chris sent her home. This woman was still reelling over the death of her husband. This wasn’t a man who died of natural causes. This was a man who took his life and left a wife and a daughter to live with that for the rest of their lives. Before Juelia move on she has to find solace with the death of her husband and until then she will find someone who will truly love her and most importantly she will love them, without any guilt.

More of behind the scenes when Jimmy Kimmel joining in on the date with Kaitlyn, the love guru with Carly and how weird it became, the scene they didn’t show with him and Becca and Sully the donkey taking off with Chris Harrison calling the donkey a jackass for almost taking Farmer Chris off the path.

They go into Britt and their relationship and what happened at Deadwood when he took her to the Big and Rich concert while the other girls were waiting for more than an hour and return with Britt having the rose in her hand coming into a very tense moment.

While Farmer Chris has not handled all of the situations with common sense, I would agree he is doing the best that he can, given the situation.

For more on Andi, check out my next blog because we all know I have a lot to say about the farce of that stupid relationship.

Newlyweds: The First Year – Where are they Now?

As you know, I did a video blog of the Newlyweds gang and predicted that Blair and Jeff would last and the other couples were questionable. Well guess what…I was wrong.

Watch my video here:

tina and tarzTina and Tarz – Married 2 years and 8 Months

Tina and Tarz, now married for more than two years are still living under the capacity of Tarz spending most of his time on Pandoodle and Tina still having her tantrums.

Last season ended with Tarz and Tina finding out they were having a baby after several miscarriages, Tina was finally able to have a baby and it was not a girl. She behaved like she was happy but one never knows with the way she behaves. Putting her career on hold, she now helps out Tarz with Pandoodle but she still has many temper tantrums, more than her own child. Surprisingly, as nasty as she is, they are still hanging touch, proving that Tarz but have some kind of love for this women. He even choked up when he was describing how they had to wheel her away for a cesarean section when she gave birth to their son.

Sadly, her father who didn’t approve the relationship at the last season, even though danced his ass off at their wedding has only worsen over time. Tarz expressed later in the episode that his dealings with Tarz has mentioned that the relationship with her father has gotten worse and he responds to him differently. Tina’s father is more disrespectful now than he was a year ago. It got so bad that Tina had an outburst at an ice cream shop of course leaving everyone stunned that was watching the debacle as she threw fruit and sprinkles around the table.

As for their child, Tarzie, Tina has recruited her child to the entertainment industry by signing him up for a modeling agency. When her entourage comes in thinking they are going to do make up for her, she actually has them there for the baby. Suggestions she made, “can we dye his hair with blonde highlights”, huh? This is a two year old child.

Needless to say, she convinces the talent scouts at the audition, after her baby walks into the door glass and busts out crying that she gets a call from them they will be using her baby for photo shoots.

Tina and Tarz ended this episode with another pregnancy test, testing positive. Who knows maybe this time she will have a girl and then she forget her first child and concentrate on the girl.

john and kathrynJohn and Kathryn – Married 2 years and 8 months

John and Kathryn who’ve been married two years and eight months, if you recall, Katherine uprooted her life from the city to the suburbs converting her whole life, giving up her career but then going into business with her husband who now own a tanning salon. However, one of the biggest hurdles still even with their child Dean, the biggest thing that John has not let go with Kathryn, is trusting her with money. He’s still in control of the finances; however he has eased on the lists he was obsessed with originally when the show air by now using Siri which Kathryn described as his “new girlfriend of the 21st century. One of things all the men will say is that they did make some asshole comments and one of the things he has stressed that if you’re going to say anything on television, watch what you say.

John who loves being a dad, for some reason does not like being alone with his son, almost as if he doesn’t know what to do with him. I’m sure he’s happy but he doesn’t seem like daddy material. Perhaps when his son is a teenager it will be a different story but how sad to miss out the growing up process.

All in all I think that John and Kathryn are the typical family, the 2.5 family with the white picket fence. They are happy; I think John respects Kathryn more now than he did when they were initially together. I also recall John’s sister being the nosy busy body, she wasn’t much of a focal point in this, “where are they now”. One of the most disturbing things in a healthy relationship with a couple is when a family member feels the need to put their nose in where it doesn’t belong.

I’m glad to see that John and Kathryn found a common ground with each other. While they have their own individual personalities they have such respect for each other and I like that John allows Kathryn to be Kathryn because in the beginning it was pretty scary to see the control on John’s part.

kim and alaskaKim and Alaska – Married 2 Years and 8 Months

Kim and Alaska who I thought would not last for a variety of reasons. One, Kim and her constant badger of they must shower together. I cannot understand that concept. Why? Why?

Okay, maybe I’m just too much of a person who enjoys private shower time, for me, shower time, should be the foreplay of foreplay. Not that you wake up in the morning and jump in the shower with your mate. Okay, maybe once in a while but certainly not mandatory.

As for Kim and Alaska, they sure have put great effort into their relationship. Alaska left his job at a music company and started his own company. Kim who was set on living in New York, ended up moving to L.A. with Alaska. Their honeymoon seemed to have made the difference in where their relationship stood and built the foundation to where they are two years later. Alaska also mention the nasty comments he received in the first season of the show.

I believe that Kim’s idea of what a relationship should be is the ideal couple who’s fifty, fifty and support each other in their careers just as equally. I think the medicinal pot that Alaska’s been smoking for his back has also helped the relationship (LOL). I am happy to see them together as they lived up their status as a power couple and I like that.

jeff and blairJeff and Blair – Married 2 Years and 8 Months but not living together

Jeff and Blair were discussing their relationship and Blair said he was embarrassed that they were the couple with the most problems, which I don’t believe that to be true. I think all the couples had their own issues and every couple is different. Blair felt he never got enough sex from Jeff which I stated in my video blog and Jeff was the one with the absent family and never let his success get in the way of that. Not only is Jeff successful, but in his relationship with Blair, sex and money were the biggest issues because Blair didn’t have a full understanding of being responsible. Sometimes a sixteen year gap can make or break a relationship only because of the maturity level.

Look, some people can say someone at 21 can be mature, but something will happen where they will be absolutely clueless and not relate to the experience at all, especially if they are in a relationship with a person older than they are.  As much as these two guys had so much love for each other, it was sad to see that their relationship had come to end.

On an even more positive level, Jeff and Blair displaying their relationship to the world has benefited many who have came out and being true to themselves. Which I love to hear. Being gay has such a terrible stigma and for me, personally, I don’t get what the big deal is about. Who is to say who we should love? Since when does love have restrictions and judgments?

During their separation, Blair has admitted that he has changed his life a great deal by running and now has gotten into spiritually and praying a lot more. It makes you wonder during a break up, do people do things because they are trying to prove something to the other person or are they really doing it for themselves?

And while Blair came back to Jeff’s life and they met at Jeff’s house to reunite and try once again to live in harmony, things looked promising. Blair started his own business and Jeff suggested that Blair should use the garage as his new office space. One of Jeff’s fears was of them arguing. Last season Blair felt he was not getting enough attention and enough sex. Being that the age difference was vast, I can understand why Jeff was more of a calmer nature than Blair.

Asked when they separated if they went outside of their relationships, Jeff said he did not see anyone else or date anyone else, while Blair chose not to answer the question, giving us the assumption that he did see other men.

Sadly, after much effort, Jeff and Blair found themselves back in the same place they were in before, arguing and not finding the common ground of communication. Their domestic partnership ended when they met at a restaurant to sign the final paper work. Seeing the end of this relationship was quite painful. Jeff and Blair seem to love each other very much but cohabiting together was the final straw that put an end to what could have possibly been a great relationship.

When I used to make 12 step meetings, I remember a guy sharing about the secret of relationships, they are hard. It takes a great commitment to compromise and respect the person that you love. They are not to be taken for granted. Even though two people can look great together, the fact is, if they can’t find a common ground of respect for one another then it’s time to move on.

Final words of advice from the couples were:

Jeff: Be kind to one another, caring and most importantly be patient

Blair: Pick your battles and in certain cases keep your mouth shut.

Kathryn: Communicate and don’t keep everything bottled up inside.

Kim: Take your time and slow down, don’t complain about the things that aren’t because you will miss the process of getting there

For the Newlyweds Season 2 – Advice for TV

Tarz:  Be sure you were clean clothes because you’re on camera all the time

John: Definitely have fun with it and think before you speak!

Tina: (of course being Tina) Who gives a fuck what anyone thinks of you. If you’re mother Theresa people will still complain.

Alaska: Don’t read the tweets, listen to your wife and don’t sound like an asshole on television because you will be an asshole for the rest of your life.

I’m happy to see that the couples are doing well for each other.

#50Shades…good for #BDSM or Not? Highlights from last night’s @KEMTopTalk Show w/host @MarabelleBlue

50-shades-funny-photo-6As you may or may not know, I have bought my talk show back to the radio airwaves where everything originally started and I have to say I’m glad to be back.

Last night, the topic was on #50Shades, phenomena or not?

My panel last night consisted of whom I call experts in the BDSM industry. I love and respect them all. My first guest was @DirkHooper who’s a writer, mentor and host his own show The Fetish Show Radio Program, along with Dirk was @MClarissa who has appeared on our KEMTopTalk show when held at a secondary location in the Bronx. Mistress Clarissa does not only live by the BDSM Lifestyle but she’s also a political Dominatrix, DOMMEunist Feminist eco peace warrior, geek, twitter prophet – one of the smartest women I know and finally Mistress Ann Domi who recently came into my life and currently featured in our @DominatnNation section on @KinkEMagazine which you can find right here: http://kinkemagazine.com/issue/february-march-jungle-love-kinkemagazine-issue-2015/article/domination-nation-mistress-ann

All who are definitely high in their standards when it comes to BDSM and all have an extreme wealth of knowledge.

Points that were bought up on the show, Dirk mentioned the Christian Grey character was a piece of shit and from the male perspective of Domination, no man would treat his sub in such a capacity unless you are watching the ID Network. Also, as a mentor, Dirk treats everyone as individuals and not just as a flock of people looking for advice or guidance into the lifestyle. Knowledge and understanding are key points when Dirk advises anyone coming into this lifestyle for personal or professional reasons. Good point.

Mistress Ann also made points that it’s bad enough the BDSM  community is frowned upon, especially where she practices her lifestyle in Alabama. Not exactly open to “that type of behavior”, a lot of what she calls hate crimes against the BDSM Community. Mistress Ann favorite specialty is Corporal Punishment which she prides on studying and working with Dominas in European countries.

Mistress Clarissa also bought up good points in regards to the book, the way it was written and believing that it comes from a male view instead of a female point of view. All agreed that BDSM is a life filled with education. The education doesn’t cease because you have arrived at some point or some level in your life. With Mistress Clarissa, one of her many specialties is Mummification and suffocation, breathing exercises. How many people can say they can do that without harming another person.

Without giving too much away of the show, it’s definitely a must listen. While I was listening to my panel of experts, questions were swirling in my head of everything I wanted to ask.

Caller CJ Cassidy called in, author of A Tortured Soul Trilogy which you can find on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/The-Tortured-Soul-Trilogy-Pleasure/dp/146093430X a must read book! I read Living La Vida Puta which is part  of the trilogy and I will tell you this is one book I won’t even loan out to anyone. There are just some books that need to be part of your library and this is definitely one of them.

All in all the two hour show was put to great use and feeling rejuvanated to have my show back on the air.

Please take a listen here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/kinkemagazine/2015/03/11/50-shades-making-the-bdsm-community-look-goodor-is-it

And you can also go to www.kinkemagazine.com where the show is displayed right on our front page.

Until then.

Loves and Hugs,

MB~

The Bachelor Farmer Chris Soules E6 @c_soules

screen-shot-2015-01-27-at-7-39-32-pmAs we continue on with Kelsey on the floor crying her eyes out all the girls are looking around like what the fuck is going on.

It was time for Kelsey to turn up the notch by play acting a panic attack and it was poor acting let me tell you. I think women will do anything to get a man even going as far as faking a panic attack. I mean since there was no cocktail hour, why not?

As the blurred face woman was administering the oxygen mask, she proceeds talking to her and asking her questions and one of the questions was, “is there anybody I can get for you”, well we all know that answer to that question… “Please get me Chris, I need him here”….ugh!. And while she’s on the floor asking for him she says I’m going to get a rose tonight for sure he might as will give me the bunch.

Even though I am not a Carly fan, she made good points on the faux panic attack and Kelsey using this as a means to get Chris to feel sorry for her so that she can get a rose. Gee, Chris didn’t feel sorry for Amber when he pretended fake music dance with her, made out with her and sent her home all in the same night…

As the rose ceremony begins Chris begins the elimination process by handing out said roses: Jade, Kaitlyn, Megan, Becca, Ashley, and unfortunately the final Rose goes to Kelsey which means that Samantha and McKenzie did not get roses. Now even though McKenzie was way too young, I think that Samantha was a great contender over Kelsey. WTF?

Now that Santa Fe has come to an end, the bachelor family of ladies now takes their journey to Deadwood, South Dakota.

This is the episode where they will be a one on one date, a group date, and a two on one date where most times the women that get this date always believes that one of them will get the rose while the other goes home. Not necessarily true.

Past episodes of the bachelor, have featured that on these two on one dates one stays and one goes. However, things have changed due to that sometimes the bachelor or bachelorette not have a connection with either one and will let both of them go, which I believe is the purpose of these two on one dates. So if there’s anyone thinking that if they get a two on one date that one will be salvaged half of the times they are not.

the-bachelor-recap-chris-beccaThe first one on one date is with Becca, who is also a virgin hasn’t told Chris yet that she is. They go on a horseback riding date, which is pretty boring because all the drama is back in the house and so much more entertaining.  All the girls are convinced that Kelsey is a liar and a drama queen and that she made up this whole story about having a panic attack just so that she could get a rose from Chris, which, sadly worked.

Kelsey walks into the room and Whitney takes the floor to address the fact that she feels and so does everybody else that Kelsey is a liar and faked the panic attack because at some point they heard her laughing. In Kelsey’s defense she claims that she does not remember laughing. FYI Kelsey is a counselor, which means she’s good at talking her way out of her emotions so that they make sense to others.  I think Kelsey is a great actress, she knows how to play those emotions really well. I have not been reading the tabloids but if there’s anything that I’m sure that any of these rags would say that probably her in-laws did not like her and she was probably the cause of his death. Would not be surprised about that

I also have to commend the casting people who continue to have success in picking out the craziest women (and men) who would add the drama effect to the show.

On the date with Becca and Chris, I was sitting and thinking as I was watching, how boring Becca must be. She reminded me of Jen Scheft, when Andrew Firestone was in the mist of picking his “bride” to be. Which is probably a perfect scenario  because it wouldn’t be a surprise if he picked her. She doesn’t really have a real career that can take her away from living a farm life.

And while she’s also fearful of rejection in relationships, back at the house the date card comes in for the group date. No one wants the two on one except for Ashley who is very excited to get the two on one date because she is convinced that she will be the one that Chris will walk off with on that date especially if the two on one is Kelsey.

The group date card it reads as follows: Whitney, Jade, Britt, Kaitlyn, Carly and Megan which leaves Kelsey and Ashley on the two on one.

Now that Ashley knows that she’s going to be on the two on one date she is purely convinced that she will be walking off with the rose and Kelsey will be sent home. Kelsey on the other hand is laughing her butt off exclaiming that it might as well be a one on one date as he and Ashley have nothing together.

Back to Becca and Chris where she gets the rose and kisses Chris for the first time.

Now that that’s over.

On the group date all the girls are challenged to write a song and sing it to Chris. They will all take turns and they are inspired by Big and Rich, duo country musicians.  Carly, the boat entertainer singer was so happy, this was her element and positive that she would win this contest and get one on one time with him. She sang beautifully but the one who ended up winning was…Britt. Being that the song had bought him to tears, Carly’s wonderful singing voice did nothing for Chris.

The two on one date card comes in and of course it reads one stay one goes let’s have fun in the Badlands which seems to have become tradition where the two on one dates are held in the middle of nowhere and when the one is chosen flies off with the bachelor/bachelorette the other one is just left behind.

I’m glad that Ashley has a lot of self-esteem for herself.

Back at the group date Chris is talking with all of the girls and trying to comfort their insecurities, now the group is getting smaller and feelings are getting more intense. And that doesn’t seem to matter because even though it’s a group date, it seems it’s a Britt and Chris date. And during his one on one with Britt outside where the group was they were sitting at a table when Chris takes Britt’s hand and tells her he has something to show her. He grabs her hand and they go running outside.

the-bachelor-recap-chris-soules-britt-big-rich-concertHe takes her to a Big and Rich show where they’re dancing and kissing and in their own world. In her interview she expressed excitement in how much she loves country music and these are her favorite guys, and the other girls have made comments that Britt does not like country music that she does not want to live on a farm, she doesn’t want children and she loves being single. But I have not seen yet Britt say these things and it certainly didn’t land in the final edit, perhaps on the cutting room floor.

On the stage with Big and Rich, Chris and Britt are dancing and kissing without a care in the world (as love should be) but back at the restaurant are a group of bitter ladies wondering where did they go. And in front of the large crowd, Chris offers the rose to Britt on stage which leads to a large cheer and two people who seem really in love.

When they get back they see Britt with the rose and they are all extremely and visably upset and it changes the entire mood of the what was the group date.

I was laughing at this part because Chris is dripping with sweat as they were dancing at the concert and having fun and then having to go back to these disgruntle looking ladies while Britt is with a smile on her face with the rose was just completely priceless.

Whitney was very upset that he took her to the Big and Rich show. Why would he do that, Britt doesn’t like country music and she doesn’t appreciate that type of music like she does.

Carly is extremely upset because she feels that she has laid out her feelings and once again she feels they’re not being reciprocated.

And although Whitney says that her heart is pure, she’s also 29 years old. And women who are at that age start freaking out. It’s now a race against time, to get married and have children before their eggs dry up.

And now on to the good part of the show, the two on one date with Kelsey and Ashley.

They have both packed up their suitcases with the anticipation that one of them is going to come back.  As Chris is waiting for them he doesn’t seem that he’s very excited about this date, while delusional Kelsey is acting like she has a real relationship with him and can’t wait to finally have some time with him. A helicopter flies them over to the Badlands where there is a makeshift bed with wine and fruit waiting for them.

ashley and chris at the badlandsThe first thing Ashley does is grab Chris so she can throw herself at him and tell him what a faux Kelsey really is. But first she has to plant her mouth on him to ensure that she gets a rose at the end of this date.

Ashley tells Chris that Kelsey is not a good person, she’s a fake and she does not gel in a group situation. Ashley reminds me of that man in the Pauletta All Fruit commercial where everyone is at the table all proper asking to pass the Pauletta All Fruit and she would yell out “could you please pass the jelly”.

Having a real concern with Kesley, he brings back Ashley and tells Kelsey to come with him for a chat asked her point-blank how she is getting along with everybody in the house. Because Kelsey is a counselor, she knows how to talk her way out of uncomfortable situations and not deal with herself but turn the tables around on other people and blatantly lies to him how well she’s getting along with everyone at the house. At that point he sells Ashley out by telling her exactly what she said. By far a priceless moment! The fake waterworks turn on as Kelsey plays victim and wonders why anyone would say that about her. If anyone was watching this episode, trust when I say, you have got to be a fool if you missed the phony in this woman.

When she comes back, visibly angry, Ashley is sitting on the bed, and there’s a silence for about a minute as Kelsey is staring Ashley down and Ashley not returning the stare back until she turns around and Kelsey says to her, “I know what you did”.

stare down

Notice that Kelsey’s eyes were completely dry. What happened to those tears of victim? Kelsey-And-Ashley i know

And as Kelsey brags on how she’s smarter than everyone else she conveniently forgets that Ashley also has her Masters because she is a journalist and you can’t be a journalist without a fucking masters degree.

After Kelsey confronts Ashley about what she said Kelsey goes running back to Chris crying her eyes out, asking why she told him.

On what was supposed to be a two on one date, Chris did not really make an effort to get to know either one of these women. If anything he was on another side of the Badlands deciphering on whether or not these two women should be kept around.

With all of Ashley efforts and confrontation and the boo hooing, Chris finally grew some balls and told her this is not going to work out and he cannot see her meshing with his life. The minute he tells her this, the next thing she does is throw Britt under the bus accusing her of not wanting the same thing that Chris is looking for in a relationship. Not a good look Ashley.

ashley crying at the badlands

When Kelsey sees Ashley coming from the hill crying her eyes out she is purely convinced that she is going to get the rose. Finally the “unsmart” girl is gone. (BTW unsmart is not a real word)

Back at the hotel room, someone comes in to fetch a suitcase and as the girls are watching they see that she takes Ashley’s suitcase and not Kelsey and this leaves them completely perplexed because they can’t understand what he sees in Kelsey. Little do they know that while this is going on Chris is going back to tell Kelsey, she too must go home.

Ashley was a complete basket case. She did not see any of this coming and was completely delusional of what she thought was a relationship with Chris.

It’s funny when Chris told Kelsey that he had sent Ashley home and she proceeded to comfort him telling him that it was a loss. I don’t think that she saw coming that Chris would be sending her home too and when he did, she put her game face on and pretended to agreed with him.

chris telling kelsey goodbye

Chris gets back on the helicopter to go back to his hotel room, leaving both Ashley who’s hysterical crying and Kelsey at the Badlands alone and back at the girls room another person comes in to fetch Kelsey’s suitcase and from there the party begins. Not only does it make them excited but they broke out the champagne and celebrated the end of Kelsey.

I can’t wait for the women tell all because I know that Chris Harrison is going to ask her the questions that I’m sure everybody is asking while they’re watching this what the fuck is on Kelsey’s mind and what planet does she live on.

Until then.

Loves and Hugs,

MB~
